Assalamu alaikum! I’m a dedicated Syrian mother and an accomplished educator with a deep passion for the Holy Quran. I hold a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa and has been honored with an Ijaza in the Holy Quran, in addition to over 10 years of experience teaching Quran. I served as a Tajweed teacher at Cordova Academy for two years and was the Head of the Quran Department at Abrar School for two years. In addition, I spent six years teaching Quran at Al Furqan Full-Time School. My goal is to inspire a love for the Quran in the students, helping them connect deeply with Allah's words. I’m commitment shaping the next generation of Muslims with strong Islamic values and a deep understanding of the Quran, Insha’Allah.

I've had the privilege of teaching Senior Kindergarten at Al-Nour Arabic School and guiding young minds as a counselor at Tri-Star and KMA, all while tutoring English and Math. Beyond the classroom, I channel my creativity into a sweet side business, whipping up delicious baked goods, and when I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll find me immersed in the art of embroidery. Teaching, baking, and crafting—I'm all about creating something special!
Assalamu Alaikum! My name is Samar Abolezz, and I am excited to join this wonderful learning community as a new teacher. My experiences have taken me through Germany, Austria, and Saudi Arabia. Fluent in Arabic, English, and German, I am deeply passionate about fostering a multicultural environment where every student can succeed. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. In my teaching career, I have taught German to 4th graders with varying language proficiency levels and designed and implemented a summer program for a German school over the course of two years. Additionally, I have worked as an Educational Assistant for students with special needs. My goal is to inspire students to excel not only in their studies but also in their character, helping them grow into confident individuals who are mindful of their faith and eager to contribute positively to the world around them, Insha’Allah.

With a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and extensive experience working with children, I am dedicated to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. In the classroom, my goals are to instill a deep understanding of Islamic principles, encourage critical thinking, and promote a sense of community among students. I aim to create lessons that are not only informative but also interactive and relevant to their lives. I look forward to collaborating with the students and contributing to the growth and development of our students.
My name is Sarah Elfeitori, and I am extremely excited to be teaching Quran and Islamic Studies in Fitra School. With my Bachelor’s degree in Literature and Linguistics from the International Islamic University of Malaysia and more than 5 years of experience in teaching in Kindergarten and Elementary schools, I am passionate about building on my academic background and experience to nurture young minds and help them grow in a healthy and Islamic environment. Children are our greatest investment and as Muslims, our aim is to prepare our children to become our future Muslim heroes. With highly creative and enthusiastic approaches I seek to use in class, students will memorize and learn about Quran and Islamic aspects in an innovative environment, as we turn lessons into interactive sessions, engage in constant encouragement and reflect on Quranic verses through experiments and discussions, in order to customize lesson content to their age and interests.
